Why Don't I Lose Weight?
TRYING TO EAT HEALTHY FOODS AND NOT LOSING WEIGHT?
Could you answer yes to any of the above?
1.) When I watch TV, I eat constantly;
2.) When I have a tough situation to deal with, I eat constantly;
3.) When I'm in an uncomfortable social situation, I eat whatever others are eating--not the most healthy food;
4.) When I'm sad, I comfort myself with fattening foods;
5.) When I'm lonely, I binge;
If you've said yes to any of the above, it would be difficult to lose weight without changing some of these habits.When you crave fattening foods here are some healthy alternatives:
1.) Chocolate: eat nuts and seeds.
2.) Sugar: eat meat and dairy products.
3.) Salt: eat more celery or cucumber, raw goats milk, fish, spinach or Swiss Chard.
4.) Bread: eat more lean cuts of meat, chicken, fish and eggs to satisfy the need for protein.
5.) Soda: drink raw milk or eat green leafy vegetables like spinach or kale.
6.) Coffee: eat more raw foods like broccoli, dried figs, dried apricots, dates and other iron-rich food.
If altering your diet doesn't get rid of food cravings, as a Health Coach, I recommend an intervention. A questionnaire is used to present how you see your weight issue. It takes what you know and helps you learn what you don't that causes the weight gain. People who have used this intervention say ""it helped me get to the main issue in just a few minutes instead a year of therapy". Louise Hay, author of Heal Your Body says says "This system will blow your mind! It is light years ahead of any other form of therapy and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to release old patterns".
